Our 25m, five‑lane pool provides an outstanding environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities, supported by features such as diving blocks, anti‑turbulence lane ropes and a wide range of training equipment. Our swimming programme gives pupils the chance to enjoy the water throughout their school life, whether they are developing confidence, training competitively or taking part as part of the PE curriculum. Alongside regular school fixtures, we run half‑termly time trials that allow swimmers to practise racing skills and track their progress over time.
For our competitive swimmers, progressive squad training is delivered by our Head of Swimming and performance swimming coach. Training takes place during games lessons and additional early morning and/or evening sessions (often a popular choice to avoid clashes with other sports commitments).
