At St George’s, we believe in empowering young women to excel in both academics and sports. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our Performance Swimming Scholarship Programme - a unique opportunity for talented swimmers aged 11-18 competing at County level and above to develop their potential and create champions, in and out of the pool.

At the Repton site, there is a six lane, 25m pool with new racing blocks, all set within the recently developed Sports Centre. This provides a perfect training environment for any ambitious swimmer. Swimmers have access to coaching across all seven days of the week and once at the right level their pool sessions are supported by specialist Strength and Conditioning at least twice per week. This is delivered in our bespoke Strength and Conditioning Gym and swimmers have access to Repton Physiotherapy Clinic to support their physical progress and any necessary rehabilitation.
Repton’s young swimmers will be following in the wake of Adam Peaty OBE - Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth Champion and world-record holder, who used Repton as his main training venue in the five years leading up to his historic gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The School was honoured to welcome Adam back to Repton in November 2019 to open its redeveloped Sports Centre.
